The Judgment

The Abysmal repeated. If you are sincere, you have success in your heart, and whatever you do succeeds.

The Image

Water upon water — danger doubled. Water flows on without stopping, filling every hollow before flowing on. It does not shrink from any dangerous place.

Interpretation

You face repeated danger or deep, abysmal challenges. The water trigram doubled means danger upon danger — there is no easy escape. But water itself teaches the way: it flows sincerely, without hesitation, filling every depression it encounters before moving on. The key is sincerity of heart and the willingness to face danger directly rather than trying to evade it. Like water, flow through the danger rather than fighting against it.

Advice

Face the danger directly with sincerity. Don't try to escape or shortcut through repeated challenges. Like water, fill each hollow completely before moving on. Maintain your inner truth and the danger will be navigated.
